I had a new loft hatch and ladder installed. From the initial visit by David to provide the quote to the work being carried out it was a smooth stress free process.

On the day of the fitting Chris arrived on time (lovely man, very polite and friendly) and covered the whole area with dust sheets. He worked non-stop in enlarging the loft hatch etc. David arrived later in the morning and helped with the fitting, before leaving Chris to complete the work,tidy up and give me a full demonstration on how it all worked.

My home was left in a clean and tidy condition.

Really high standard of work carried out at a professional level and did a good job of clearing up afterwards.

Hired to extend original hatch to make it more accessible. It wasn’t until the work was started that we realised I couldn’t have original measurements due to supporting beams but I was updated during various stages where we discussed available options.

Couple of things just for you dont want them going in the review:

I wasn’t aware it wouldn’t be you that would be carrying out the work, the guy that turned up did a brilliant job though, was just a little surprised.

Bit of a misunderstanding at the beginning where I actually have two hatches and he started work on the wrong one. He did a brilliant job of patching that up though.

The fitting to open the hatch doesn’t have a hoop or anything to be able to turn it to open with a pole. You need to get a ladder to reach the fitting which defeats the object slightly. The guy said it was regulatory but might be worth mentioning to future customers.

David came to board our our loft he was a great guy and felt 100% comfortable with him in our home. He didn’t have a light on him but came the next day to fit it. He cleaned up all the mess that was made. I would definitely

Dave came initially and gave us a very competitive quote for the work. I was impressed from the start .

Would 100% recommend Access4lofts. Can not find any fault with the work carried out. Nothing was too much for the workmen. My husband wanted to help shift stuff around in the loft to help. The workmen would not let him, insisted they were alright to do it. They were one of the best tradesmen I have ever had in my house. So conscious that they didn’t make a mess.
